Bio:

Arne was born in 783, along with his twin sister Arda, the youngest of his siblings. He lived in a forested village by the edge of a river in Sweden. As the youngest, he had the least responsibilities, mostly helping his mother perform household chores. He was especially good with the animals. His older brother William was closest to Godric and taught him many poems and songs. Ulfric, Godric’s uncle and father-figure after his own father’s death in Britain, was fond of the boy. Ulfric was stern and demanding, but everything he did was for “Godric’s own good”.

Godric was quiet and sensitive, often the target of light bullying by his brother Arne. In 793, he was moved to Northumberland, in Britain, by his oldest brother Ragnar. Godric missed home but looked forward to the possibilities this new land had to offer. He ended up becoming quite fond of it and spent much of time exploring the countryside.

As he grew older, William began to teach Godric how to handle a sword, in the event that Picts or raiders ever attacked their homestead while the men were away. Despite being a sensitive young man, Godric had some pent-up anger that he worked through using swordsmanship and he excelled at the art. When he was fourteen, Ulfric gifted Godric a sword of his own, which Godric named “White Wolf”.

In 799, about a year later, Ulfric went missing in the Scottish highlands. Ragnar took William and a handful of others to search for him.

In the early spring of 800, he was turned into a vampire by his uncle Ulfric, though the exact circumstances are unknown. Godric, along with his brothers Ragnar and Arne, fled their uncle’s influence sometime around 824, when they fled into the wilderness, though Ulfric always remained never far behind.

In 831, they fled across the North Sea and into what is now Sweden. For an unknown reason, they fled to Norway in 846, where they have remained ever since.
